Championships Schedule
The Championships 2023 will be played over 14 days, this marks the second year that play on the Middle Sunday is part of the intended schedule.
As last year, the fourth round singles matches will be spread across two days, and the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ singles matches will be mixed through the quarter-finals. The Mixed Doubles competition will be a 32-draw size with the final scheduled to take place on Thursday, following the Ladies’ singles semi-finals on Centre Court. This year, the Gentlemen's Doubles format will change from best of five sets to best of three.
Play on all outside courts will start at 11am. The staggered start times of Centre Court (1.30pm) and No.1 Court (1pm), introduced in 2021, will be retained and run through until finals weekend when play on Centre Court will commence at 2pm. Matches on No.1 Court will start at 11am on finals weekend for the first time in 2023.
The following schedule is a guide and may be changed at the discretion of the Referee.
Matches may also be delayed due to circumstances beyond the AELTC's control, e.g. weather, player injury etc.
